At Sakti Sikha Development Society, we believe that true and lasting development begins at the grassroots level—through the empowerment of communities, inclusive planning, and the promotion of resilient livelihoods. Over the years, our organization has worked with unwavering dedication to foster self-reliance among rural and tribal households, ensuring that every initiative we undertake contributes to a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous society.

Our journey has been shaped by the collective vision of creating a world where every individual regardless of gender, location, or background has the opportunity to live with dignity and purpose. This belief forms the foundation of all our interventions, from livelihood enhancement and women’s empowerment to natural resource management and climate resilience. We see development not merely as economic progress, but as a process of enabling people to realize their full potential and actively participate in shaping their future. Sakti Sikha’s strength lies in its people-centric approach. We work closely with Self- Help Groups (SHGs), Producer Groups (PGs), and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to build local leadership and promote collective action. Through participatory planning, training programmes, and awareness initiatives, we ensure that the voices of communities—especially women and marginalized groups—are at the heart of our decision- making process.

In all our efforts, we remain deeply committed to environmental stewardship and social equity. We recognize that sustainable development cannot be achieved without protecting our natural resources and promoting ecological balance. Our initiatives emphasize sustainable agriculture, water management, and eco-friendly livelihoods, blending modern techniques with indigenous knowledge to create long-term solutions rooted in local realities. The journey of Sakti Sikha Development Society is also a story of collaboration. We have had the privilege of working alongside government departments, civil society organizations, funding agencies, and local communities who share our vision of inclusive growth.
