To promote fish production and strengthen rural livelihoods, the Special Programme for Promotion of Integrated Farming (SPPIF) program has introduced the construction of farm ponds for freshwater fisheries in tribal areas of Kuliana Block. Implemented in convergence with MGNREGA and the Department of Fisheries, this initiative supports integrated aquaculture practices and provides an additional income stream for tribal households.
