As part of the Special Programme for Promotion of Integrated Farming (SPPIF) convergence mode. The Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana – Per Drop More Crop (PMKSY-PDMC) aims to enhance water use efficiency in agriculture by
promoting micro irrigation technologies. In Kuliana Block, this initiative has been implemented with a focus on high-value agricultural and horticultural crops, ensuring sustainable water management and improved productivity.
Objectives
> Promote adoption of micro irrigation systems such as sprinklers, drip irrigation, and HDPE pipelines.
> Facilitate online application submission through the PMKSY portal for availing subsidized assistance.
> Improve crop productivity and water conservation in tribal farming systems.
> Strengthen convergence with existing programs for efficient beneficiary selection and support. Implementation Strategy Beneficiary Mobilization Facilitating Agency (FA) and Community Resource Persons (CRPs) actively engaged in
motivating farmers to adopt micro irrigation practices.
Awareness campaigns and field demonstrations conducted to showcase benefits and application procedures.
